HAPPY NEW YEAR AMPLIFY CHURCH FAMILY!

As you may know, I have been serving in a dual role of Senior Pastor of Amplify Church and Campus Pastor of our Pittsburgh East Campus. Effective on Easter Sunday, Ed Newell, the current Campus Pastor at our Indiana location, will become the Campus Pastor at Pittsburgh East. This change will not affect my role or visibility/speaking as the Senior Pastor of Amplify Church, but it will empower Pastor Ed to take on an important leadership role with a larger number of our church staff and volunteers. I know that Ed will do a great job! Nick Carey, an excellent young leader who studied under Judah Smith and has served alongside of Ed, will become the Campus Pastor at Indiana.
One benefit of Ed Newell’s day-to-day leadership at the Pittsburgh East campus is that I will be able to respond more effectively to the increasing number of requests for advice and coaching from leaders in other churches who have been inspired by what God has done and is doing at Amplify Church. You are all a part of a miracle story of an aging, dying church that is now healthy and growing with every generation well represented. 2017 was one of the fastest growing years in the history of Amplify Church. Our weekend attendance grew by over 240 people in 2017 and the average attendance per weekend at Amplify Church now exceeds 2000 people. Even more exciting is that so many of our new attendees experienced genuine life-change through faith in Jesus Christ. 142 people were baptized at Amplify Church in 2017!
I am excited about what God has in store for Amplify Church and for your life in 2018!  See you in church!
Lee Kricher
Senior Pastor, Amplify Church
